Types of reception
From a land
For acceptance of oil products of JSC Ventbunkers uses two railway trestles: one with two ways where each way capable to discharge 30 tank cars at a time, the second trestle with three ways where it is possible to discharge respectively 12, 12 and 8 tank cars. It is possible at the same time to process 92 cars tanks.
From sea
The JSC Ventbunkers has opportunity to accept fuel oil and diesel fuel also from tankers.
Transshipment
From a land
It is possible to transport diesel fuel from the territory using tank-truck.
From sea
Transshipment of oil products is organized mainly by loading oil products on the tankers. Transshipment can happen from four piers. Available parameters of depth provide loading of oil products in tankers with the maximum loading capacity up to 150 000 DWT. The cleaning and deepening of the water area of the port is done regularly. Necessary works in the water area of port are are organized by Ventspils Free Port Authority.
Transshipment of freight in the tanker can happen at the same time from one or several shore tanks. Thus, the maximum capacity for loading of diesel fuel can reach 3 600 m3 in hour. In turn, the maximum capacity for loading of fuel oil can reach 2 500 m3 in hour.
